"I had a great experience working with Austin at the Matt McCoy State Farm office. From the start, the receptionist who answered the phone was warm and welcoming, which set a positive tone for the whole interaction. Austin was incredibly friendly, informative, patient, and kind. He took the time to walk me through my options and made sure I felt confident and comfortable with my coverage choices. What really stood out was that I never felt pressured to go with the most expensive or broadest plan—he and the team genuinely seemed focused on what was best for me. "This location is IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of! I tried for weeks to get my husband’s car insurance to be added to our joint account. I was told it was done/being done. After attempting to add a new car to our plan, I was told an agent would call me back to complete the final step. When the office closed and I still had not received a call back (and having calls ignored) I was finally able to get my car added after calling corporate. I was told by the corporate agent that the process wasn’t even started. I called multiple days/ times, leaving a voicemail each time. I transferred to the Owasso office (answered on the second ring) earlier in the year and was made aware that my husbands car insurance was never added to our joint account and was still under Matt McCoys office. I have now called twice this week (10 am on Tuesday and 2:30 pm on Thursday) and have once again received no call back! This has been a miserable experience! Now after reading some reviews I see this is a common theme."

"This agent's office does not answer the phone. My husband has been trying to cancel an auto policy on a sold car for more than a month. State Farm corporate will not cancel on this agent's behalf. Finally got ahold of someone, was assured his policy was successfully canceled, and of course, it is not. Funnily enough, I saw a Reddit post today where someone else was complaining Matt McCoy's office is unreachable. Then I come to Google and see many others have had the same experience of late. He's so unreachable that I looked up his insurance license to see if he was even still practicing. Encourage the others waiting to file a complaint with State Farm corporate and the Oklahoma Insurance Commission."

"These people never answer the phone. They can't get my policy correct and keep overcharging me. They dropped me without telling me after i had just made a payment and won't refund my money. Progressive offers more coverage for less."

"I have been with State Farm for over 40 years. Recently, representatives who answer the phone usually don’t know the answers and seem inexperienced. They often don’t even seem to understand the question. They say they’ll check and call back but usually don’t. If they do call back, it’s often an answer to a question I didn’t ask. This has been going on for many months now. Last week I asked to speak with Matt McCoy to inform him of his office’s deterioration and try to resolve. I was told he wasn’t there but would be back “in an hour or so”. I called back later and a different person said he had been there all day but just left. Later last week Dellaresa at least tried to fix things. She is better, but because the others seem incompetent, and there has been no response or resolution in many months, I’ve decided to transfer my 10 policies to Chris Lile’s office. Andrew Sibley, M.D."

"I asked to have my three car and boat policy removed from my account. This took them weeks to achieve for some reason but they managed to easily cancel my homeowners policy mid-policy that I did NOT request to be cancelled."
